Most of my work is fiber-related; constructions, handmade paper, natural dyeing, weaving, handmade books are all interesting to me, either singular pieces or installations. Influences are based on Nature, psychology, or some intriguing ephemeral thing. I am currently working with two other artists on a longterm project about the stages of womanhood—I make the headdresses, the photographer makes wet plate collodion photographic plates of a model wearing them, and the painter is translating the image in her medium.
